The Wire Rod and Bar Mill is a production unit designed for hot rolling of small profiles and wire rod in various steel grades, such as: reinforcing steel, quality carbon steel, alloy steel, spring steel, ball bearing steel and fastners, carbon and aloy tool steel high speed steel, stainless steel and heat resisting steel.

Raw material consists of - square section steel billets, in as as rolled or forged condition - with following dimensions : 100 x 100 x 6000 - 9000 mm and 120(125) x 120(125) x (6000 - 9000) mm.

Main equipment :

• Walking-Hearth - type furnace for reheating of billets;
• Continuous - type rolling mill withg 24 stands, horizontal-vertical arrangement individually driven ;
• Crop and cobble shears following each roilling train;
• Reels for winding of wire rod coils ;
• Cooling bed for bars with enhanced rectilinearity ;
• One cold shear for cutting bars at specified length ;
• Continuous furnaces, bell-type furnaces, elevator-type furnace, for bars and wire rod coils annealing, heat treatment that provide the suitable mechanical properties in accordance with standards provisions;
• Bar Straightening machines that ensure a better rectilinearirty of bars;
• Peeling machines, smoothing and polishing machines for bars with narrow tollerance
• ( H11), bright surface free of defects;
• Broaching and Peeling machines for wire rod coils with narrow tolerance, bright surface, free of defects;
• One welding machine for steel mesh.
• Manufacturing standards are: SR, ASTM, DIN, GOST.
