Founded in 1992, the Valahia University of Targoviste pursues the achievement of its mission under optimal conditions: high-quality education and scientific research, ideal study conditions for students, professional integration at the national level, European academic openness.
Currently, at all 10 faculties (35 specializations), approximately 7,500 students study under the careful guidance of over 300 teaching staff.
The structure of Valahia Targoviște University includes, in addition to educational and scientific research activities, a continuous training center that meets the needs of the socio-economic environment in which the university operates.
For this reason, Otelinox provided yearly support to the university by outfitting labs and classrooms as well as by planning internal practice and training events.
This year, the following were purchased: a milling machine that will allow the processing of the test tubes necessary to determine the mechanical characteristics of the materials and the creation of components for didactic platforms used by students in the Materials Engineering and Mechanical Engineering fields of study, a machine tool that will also have role of didactic material for the laboratories of Mechanical and tolerance machining and dimensional control of the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Mechanics (FIEETI), but also programmable automata, development boards with microcontrollers and electronic modules for acquiring data from sensors and communications respectively for the University laboratories.
